How can I tell if a sensor is transmitting incorrect data?

Possible signs that a sensor is transmitting incorrect data include:

  • the sensor does not respond when turned on;

  • there is no LED indicator activity;

  • the data displayed in the app appears incorrect or does not update;

  • one of the sensors is missing or inconsistent in the overall analysis.

Common situations and recommended actions:

1️⃣ The sensor LED is not blinking
This usually indicates that the battery is depleted.
What to do:

  • connect the sensor to a charger;

  • make sure it is fully charged;

  • reconnect the sensor and check the LED indicator after charging.
    In most cases, the sensor will function correctly once charged.

2️⃣ The sensor housing is damaged
(for example, if the horse stepped on or crushed the sensor)
Visible mechanical damage such as cracks, deformation, or loss of sealing means the sensor should be considered out of service, as continued use may lead to incorrect data transmission.

What to do:

  • stop using the damaged sensor immediately;

  • dispose of it according to local electronic waste disposal regulations.
    (Yes, unfortunately, even the most careful horses sometimes “help” us upgrade our equipment 😄)
